The Council said that it has already seen some informal proposals from community-led organisations, including Bradford One and Bradford Live which both want to use the building for entertainment purposes, but it is inviting expressions of interest up until July 13 this year.
A longlisting process will then take place until the end of the year with shortlisting taking place between January and May next year.
A final decision will be made in July/August 2014 but the report warns that “the timetable for the Odeon future development proposals needs to be tightly managed otherwise there is a risk that the Council will incur unbudgeted costs”.
