Police in Bradford may turn to sending a bat signal into the night sky, for the city appears to have its own caped crusader.
Bradford could be mistaken for Gotham City in these CCTV pictures, which show ‘Batman’ handing in a man suspected of handling stolen goods and fraud-related offences at the city’s Trafalgar House police station in the early hours of Monday, February 25.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The person who brought the wanted man into the station was dressed in a full Batman outfit. His identity, however, remains unknown.”
A 27-year-old man was arrested by officers on suspicion of burglary, fraud and breach of a court order and has since been charged with handing stolen goods and fraud related offences.
He is due to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 8.
