Plumes of steam will signal the return of the winter steam gala, held on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway this weekend.
For three days from tomorrow vintage trains will travel the line from morning until early evening, with gaslights lighting up the stations to give an air of added Victorian authenticity.
The annual event is popular with train enthusiasts and families eager to experience the glory days of rail travel.
There will be events and displays at each station along the line, with the hub of activity being at Keighley Station, where there will be 20 departures a day.
In Haworth there will be guided tours of the locomotive shed and workshops on all three days.
There will be hot food and miniature trains at Oxenhope station.
