More than 200 young people will take part in two concerts organised by Bradford Council’s music and arts service.
The concerts will take place on Saturday, March 9, at Beckfoot School in Bingley.
The first concert is by the Music Centre and will take place from 6pm to 7pm. This will be followed by a second concert which includes the Bradford Youth Orchestra, Bradford Youth Wind Orchestra and Bradford Youth Training Orchestra, and begins at 7.30pm.
Groups taking part in the music centre event include intermediate wind bands from Ilkley and North Bradford music centres, Rock School and Classical Guitars from Ilkley Music Centre, the Masharti String Orchestra from the North Bradford Music Centre and the Batteria mixed percussion group from the North Bradford Music Centre. Tony Johnson, head of Music and Arts, said: "This event is one of many in the Music Hub’s winter programme and gives young people the perfect opportunity to showcase their skills.”
Tickets are £5 or £3 for concessions on the door.
