A man has been jailed for four years after police stopped him with 200 street deals of Class A drugs hidden under his car seat and £400 cash in a bag in the car.

Yasser Khan, 26, of Sage Street, Canterbury, Bradford, had digital scales and dealer bags at his home, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday.

He pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to supply, possession of the money as criminal property and simple possession of a small amount of cannabis.

Prosecutor Richard Davies said police stopped Khan in Bowling Back Lane, Bradford, on February 6 last year because he was talking on his phone while driving.

A search of his VW Polo, after they smelled cannabis, uncovered 180 wraps of heroin and 20 wraps of crack cocaine under the seat. The cash and a notebook were in a bag in the car.

The court heard that Khan was the sole carer for his mother. He was remorseful and claimed to be acting under the direction of his father.
