Five people have been hurt, some badly, after a balcony at a restaurant in Brighouse collapsed today.
The incident happened at the Casa hotel and restaurant in Elland Road.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Some of those injured are believed to be serious."
Emergency services were called at about 12noon and said some details of the incident have yet to emerge.
West Yorkshire Fire Service confirmed firefighters were at the scene.
A fire spokesman added: "We have reports of five casualties."
