Do you fancy performing at the Alhambra this autumn?
Bradford Catholic Players are looking for singers, dancers, actors to appear in their forthcoming production of The Producers.
The comedy musical, adapted from Mel Brooks’s hit movie, is the story of a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and a nerdy young accountant who concoct a scheme to raise thousands of dollars from backers then put on a show that’s in such bad taste they think it’s sure to be a flop.
The pair reckon that with all the money left over, they’ll be rich. There’s just one problem – the show is a huge hit.
A launch night will take place on Saturday, February 23, at St Cuthbert’s Unity Centre, Wilmer Road, Heaton at 7.30pm.
“All are welcome to attend, whether they’re interested in being in the show, or helping backstage or front of house,” says Anne-Marie Carroll from the Catholic Players.
