Major changes to rules governing benefits and housing will be explained at a session in central Keighley next week.
The Welfare Reform Information Gathering will be held at Central Hall, in Alice Street, from 11.30am to 3pm on Tuesday. Members of the public are welcome.
People will be able to find out about how their incomes will be affected by reforms due to come into force in April.
The information session has been arranged by nine different organisations.
Ash Alom, of Keighley & Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action, said: “Central government is driving through many changes, so this is an important event to try and make sure local people are aware of these and can prepare in advance.
