There was more misery for rush-hour commuters on the M62 this evening after a lorry blew a tyre.
Police said the incident happened at about 1.30pm, but it has had a knock-on effect on tea-time traffic as two lanes of the carriageway had to be closed.
It happened near junction 28 (Tingley) eastbound and congestion is snaking back to junction 26 (Chain Bar).
All lanes have been reopened and travel time is said to be about 30 minutes. Traffic had to be fully stopped earlier in order to move debris from the outside lane.
