A 63-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Bradford grandfather Clement Desmier.
The man, who was arrested on Saturday, is due to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Four further men who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday – one aged 19, one aged 22 and one aged 52 – remain in police custody and are being questioned by detectives, a police spokesman said.
Clement ‘Butch’ Desmier, 68, was found dead in his armchair at his home in Rowlestone Rise, Greengates, Bradford, on Thursday, August 23 last year.
