A woman pedestrian suffered a serious leg injury when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Bradford, police said yesterday.
The 31-year-old woman was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary after the incident in Halifax Road, Buttershaw, at about 9.20pm last Thursday.
Police said the car, believed to have been a black Seat Leon that was seen driving along the road at the time, failed to stop at the scene following the collision.
Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information on it, should contact Bradford South police on 101.
