From front, Katherine Holmes, Carol Holmes, Lynn Caruso, Simone Hinchliffe and Simon Gallacher make pancakes for pupils in Shipley
An Aire Valley school has cooked up a flipping great way to celebrate Pancake Day and raise charity cash at the same time.
Staff and parents of children at St Anthony’s Primary School, in High Busy Lane, Windhill, Shipley, have donated ingredients to make pancakes, which are being sold to pupils, with a variety of toppings for 50p each.
The money raised will go to the Gambia Schools charity.
