Colin Todd will find out tomorrow if he can lure another loan player to Valley Parade.

Todd is pressing ahead with his attempts to add a Championship-based winger to the squad even though he expects good news on the injury front.

Ben Parker should be available for Saturday's trip to Oldham and Lee Holmes and Richard Edghill are both making progress. David Graham will also return after being prevented from playing in the FA Cup.

That would give Todd a welcome selection headache on the back of City's crushing cup win over Crewe.

It is almost an embarrassment of riches considering the problems facing the Bantams boss a week ago. But he is still chasing the mystery player he has had his eye on over the last month.

Todd said: "I'm always a great believer of bringing in good players if they are going to make a difference to the squad.

"Hopefully we'll have a few more options this week and that's a nice problem to have. But I would like to bring in one more because he is someone who can play on the left and right."

Todd borrowed Colin Healy from Barnsley and saw him make a bright start in central midfield against Crewe. Now he is hoping that chairman Julian Rhodes can be persuaded to sanction another short-term arrival.

Todd was thrilled by the performance at the weekend after a barren run of results - and expects that win to kick-start a recovery in the league.

He added: "The players deserve to take the glory for the way they played. We stuck together when the going got a bit tough and have now shown once again what we are capable of on our day."
