An international gymnast somersaulted over teachers at a school to the delight of pupils.
Team GB member Matthew Firth visited Peel Park Primary School in Bradford to give a gymnastics display and lead a sponsored circuit training session.
PE teacher Mathew Waddington said: “The kids absolutely adored it. It was something completely new to them, not just the usual football or cricket. The kids absolutely loved every second of it.”
The circuit training class was held to raise money for the charity Sports for Schools, as well as school funds.
Although Mr Firth did not make the London 2012 team, he is one of the country’s top gymnasts and is hoping to make an appearance at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
