A Bradford primary school will close early today because of the snow forecast later this afternoon.
Crossley Hall Primary School on Thornton Road will let pupils go home at 1.25pm.
Meanwhile, Holybrook Primary School will close its nursery this afternoon because of bad weather.
The nursery at Home Farm Primary School in Queensbury will also close this afternoon.
The Met Office is predicting light snow in the Bradford area from around 3pm, which is expected to continue over Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures as low as -2 degrees.
It has issued an amber weather warning Yorkshire and the Humber and says members of the public “should be aware of the risk of significant travel disruption”.
