Vehicular access to Keighley New Church in Braithwaite Village has been improved.

The Braithwaite Road entrance to the site has been doubled in width.

New Church council member Philip Brooks said the old access had become risky to negotiate.

He added: “Over the decades – as car usage has increased – the entry point had become more difficult to use, with some risks from other vehicles approaching an almost stationary car attempting a difficult turn.

“The new wider and flatter access makes ingress and egress easier and safer.”
