Fire crews from Odsal station were called to the blaze on Barmby Road at 4.30pm today.
The fire had took hold at the bottom of the stairs, trapping the woman in her living room.

The woman, aged in her 40s, did not suffer any serious injuries but was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for a check-up. Her house was heavily smoke-damaged.
