People living near a run-down play area in Baildon are being asked to help Bradford Council secure the funding needed to refurbish it.
Neighbourhood officers are to visit Glenaire Primary School to ask children to write letters in support of the grant bid for the Southfield Drive play area.
A bid has been submitted for a £58,000 grant from environmental charity WREN. Coun Imran Hussain, deputy leader of Bradford Council, said: “It would be great if we can drum up more support for this application.”
