Funding is available to support community projects that target helping vulnerable people in cold housing in the district through a range of activities.
The aim is to reduce the levels of death, ill-health and serious illness over the coming months.
Bradford District Community Fund (BDCF) has a new small grants scheme that will help bring warmth to some homes across the district. This is possible through the Warm Homes, Healthy People Project, funded by the NHS and Bradford Council.
Informal groups of residents and schemes such as Neighbourhood Watch and Snow Wardens can apply for up to £250 to run activities such as providing snow-clearing for neighbours or setting up a coffee morning in a community centre.
Community groups and charities with a constitution can apply for up to £2,500 for larger-scale projects.
The deadline for the receipt of all applications is Friday, January 4.
