Bradford Festival Choral Society is celebrating the festive season with a Family Christmas Spectacular tomorrow.
The concert will feature Will Todd’s jazz work Mass in Blue and a moving rendition of Handel’s Messiah.
The choir will be joined by an array of performers delivering a seasonal programme of old and new music in a fun, family atmosphere.
Also accompanying the choir will be Rothwell Temperance Brass Band, crowned Yorkshire Regional Champions in 2009, and Bradford Catholic Youth choirs, who have sung on BBC1’s Songs Of Praise The compere is Bradford writer Nick Toczek, an internationally renowned children’s author and poet, storyteller and comedian. His recent CD Motormouth and several collections of poetry for children will be on sale after the concert, when Nick will be signing copies.
