The public is being asked to help prevent the spread of winter bugs.
Ward 29 at Bradford Royal Infirmary has restricted visiting due to norovirus and the hospital trust’s director of infection prevention and control, Dr Phil Stanley, is appealing to visitors who feel ill, or have been unwell, only to visit if absolutely necessary.
He said: “Please remember, when it comes to diarrhoea and vomiting, hand-gels don’t work, so you must ensure you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before, during and after coming on to our wards to visit sick relatives.”
