Keighley’s Shoe Zone store is safe despite the closure of 90 branches of its sister company Stead & Simpson.
Bosses confirmed that none of the Shoe Zone-branded stores – including the outlet in Airedale Shopping Centre – were affected.
Shoe Zone announced on Tuesday that it was closing 90 of its 220 Stead & Simpson stores, putting an estimated 500 jobs at risk.
Shoe Zone is winding up Tyler Ltd, the company that Stead & Simpson stores trade under, following a review of the business.
