Bradford City players Will Atkinson and Carl McHugh visited Bradford Royal Infirmary yesterday with the Capital One Cup ahead of today’s quarter final tie against Arsenal.
The visit to ward 27 was to thank orthopaedic staff who cared for on-loan defender John Egan when he fractured his tibia and fibula in his right leg after landing awkwardly during City’s clash with Plymouth Argyle last month.
The cup was received by ward 27 matron Francesca Hill and ward 27 sister Victoria White.
