Following their successful pantomime run at Guiseley Theatre, Carpetbaggers Theatre Group welcomes back Guiseley’s own Elvis, to sing carols for an audience of diners.

The Christmas concert will be held at the newly-refurbished Wetherby Whaler restaurant in Guiseley, on Saturday, December 22, at 3pm.

Aaron Martin, who performs as The Sound Of Elvis, wowed audiences in Wizard of Wharfedale in 2010, playing ‘the King’ in the locally-adapted tale.

For the cabaret, One Day More, Elvis will be joined by stars of this year’s panto, as well as performers of previous Carpetbaggers shows.

The concert will feature traditional Christmas carols, and Aaron will sing a selection of songs from Elvis’s seasonal album, Blue Christmas.

“Diners are sure to be delighted with our sparkling line-up for this Christmas concert. We’re very eager to give something back to Wetherby Whaler, as they have been an important source of support during our pantomime, Robin Hood and his Men in Tights,” says Carpetbaggers president Martin Holmes.

The restaurant chain, owned by Phillip and Janine Murphy, sponsored the theatre group to help fund this year’s panto and is supporting its upcoming show, Walkin’ Back To Happiness, due to run next April.
