The Manor House Museum
Schoolchildren will take over Ilkley’s Manor House Museum and Art Gallery for the day on Friday.
Children from Ashlands Primary School in Ilkley will be involved in many aspects of running the Bradford Council museum throughout the day.
A display case curated by pupils will be on show from Saturday until February 10.
The museum will take on a Danish theme this festive season, with traditional Danish decorations.
Youngsters can also expect a visit from Hans Christian Anderson on December 1 and 22, for two storytelling sessions. These sessions start at 2pm.
The Christmas season will begin on Friday November 30, when Geoff Bowen will give a talk about Christmas Fiddler Traditions at this month’s Friends of Ilkley Manor House coffee morning at 10.30am.
