The third Burley-in-Wharfedale Moor Fun Run will put a spring in the step of participants this weekend.
The event will see runners and joggers of all ages and abilities taking part.
The run will start at Scalebor Park Pavilion at 10am and will go onto Burley Moor.
It will be an off-road course of about 11km and has a main ascent of 800 feet.
The course uses well trodden paths and tracks, but by the nature of the moorland some sections are steep and uneven.
Participants are reminded that they are responsible for their own safety and enter at their own risk.
Stewards will be on the course to mark the route and the one road crossing will be policed.
Anyone wanting to volunteer as a steward would be welcome. Contact Chris Hill via hillwdale@talktalk.net for information.
