Fashionistas strutted their stuff on the catwalk during a ladies’ night in Bradford.
Women modelling clothes from Store 21 and glasses from Specsavers in Shipley took part in a fashion show at St John the Evangelist Church in Greengates, which raised £180 for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The church hopes to raise £5,000 through a series of events to sponsor and name a guide dog puppy.
Nadia Dyson, one of the organisers, said: “There were 56 ladies at the event and everyone had a wonderful time.
“One resident, Helen Davies, spoke about her guide dog. She has retinitis pigmentosa, which affects her peripheral vision and means she only has very small central vision and couldn’t go out at night time. Her dog has transformed her life.
“We will be holding ladies’ nights on the first Friday of every month.”
