Children were taken on a mystery-solving tour as Scooby Doo arrived at the National Media Museum in Bradford today.

The popular character took time out from solving spooky mysteries around Crystal Cove to kick off a programme of Halloween-themed activities, which will run until Sunday, November 4.

Youngsters will get the chance to scare friends and family by trying on some frightening monster masks and outfits, follow clues on a Scooby Doo adventure trail and make spooky sound effects for a real cartoon sequence during the October half-term.

They will also be able to get creative and animate their own Scooby Doo villain, uploading their finished sequence on website Flickr to share with friends and family.

Elaine Richmond, learning programme co-ordinator at the museum, said: “Scooby Doo is revealing some of the secrets behind his spooky adventures especially for half term and Halloween.”
