Residents in Bradford will have the chance to quiz the candidates vying to become West Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

A hustings event will be held at Kala Sangam centre in Forster Square, Bradford, on Wednesday, November 7, where all four candidates will speak about their bid for the new role.

People across the county will go to the polls on November 15.

Those in the running are Labour candidate Mark Burns-Williamson, the Conservative Party’s Geraldine Mary Carter, independent Cedric Mark Christie and Andrew Clive Glover Marchington, representing the Liberal Democrats.

The debate, starting at 6pm, will be chaired by Ratna Lachman, of JUST West Yorkshire, which has organised the hustings.
