Motorists endured rush hour chaos on the motorways yesterday morning.
Long delays were caused by a broken down vehicle on the M62 eastbound between junction 26 at Chain Bar and junction 27 at Gildersome.
Traffic queued for the entire length of the southbound M606, while there were talibacks to junction 24 of the M62 at Huddersfield.
The incident led to congestion on alternative routes.
