The Bulls this morning swooped to re-sign Nathan McAvoy from Wigan Warriors.
The former England centre/wing, 30, has agreed a contract until the end of this season.
McAvoy could go straight into the squad for tonight's friendly at Keighley Cougars (7.30pm).
He originally played for the Bulls between 1998-2002, having joined from Salford in a £135,000 deal.
McAvoy departed Odsal for Saracens RU but returned to rugby league with Salford two years ago.
He started last season at Leeds Rhinos but joined Wigan midway through the summer, helping them in their successful fight against relegation.
McAvoy has been handed the No 2 squad jersey, recently vacated by the surprise retirement of Marcus Bai.
It gives boss Steve McNamara further options and strength in his outside backs for Super League XII.
