On Friday, from 10.30am to 2.30pm the Civic Big Brew will take place in the banqueting suite at City Hall, with all proceeds to Cancer Support, Bradford and Airedale. Browse the stalls with lots of ideas for Easter and Mother’s Day, or just enjoy a cuppa with a scone or cake. The Book People will also be there and Health and Beauty students from Bradford College will be offering a selection of treatments.

Pudsey Civic Antiques and Collectables Fair offers the chance to find that illusive item for your home or for a gift from quality glassware, china, jewellery, toys and collectables to occasional furniture, art, photographic equipment, antique and vintage jewellery, accessories and many things in-between. Heart Dissection week will be returning during February half-term at the Thackray Museum in Beckett Street, Leeds. Have a go at being a heart surgeon for the day and dissect a real heart, from 1pm to 4pm. This activity is bookable on a first-come-first-served basis and may be subject to a small charge. Stockeld Park, Wetherby, has opened its doors to a new venture this half term, inviting you to Simply Skate on the real ice rink. As well as general skating sessions, lessons are on offer from qualified coaching staff. The real highlight will be the Ice Disco on Friday, from 7pm to 9pm, and its not just lights and music that will provide the atmosphere as Stockeld makes snow fall across the rink!
