BRADFORD Cinderella Club is sponsoring Keighley Amateurs’ panto, Cinderella.

The group has donated £500 to the society to help mark its 125th year of working with and for children in the district.

"Keighley Amateurs pantos have always involved a large group of Keighley children in the chorus, a feature much appreciated by audiences over the years," says society spokesman David Brett. "The group also provides low cost, high quality pantomimes which attract large number of schools, Brownies, cubs, scouts and church groups each year."

Chairman Louise Hindle Barton adds: “We're delighted that the Cinderella Club has decided to support Keighley Amateurs in this way. Thousands of children will have been involved in or been to see a Keighley Pantomime over the years. We recognise the good work that the Cinderella Club do and are proud to be associated with them."

The Cinderella Club has been helping children across the district since 1890. Its work includes funding school trips and treats for children who otherwise wouldn't be able to join in activities due to family problems, financial difficulties or other factors such as long-term illness or disability.
