THE Bradford Catholic Players are desperately seeking men for their forthcoming show, Carousel.
The popular musical centres on sweet mill girl Julie Jordan and handsome but "uncivilised" carousel barker, Billy Bigelow. When they marry, things turn sour for the couple and when Billy can't find a job and he and Julie are forced to live with a cousin, he gets involved in an ultimately tragic scheme to make some money.
"We need more men for the show," said spokeswoman Anne-Marie Carroll. "If you fancy performing at one of the most stunning venues in Yorkshire, the Bradford Alhambra, why not come along to one of our rehearsals?"
Carousel runs at the Alhambra from November 19 - 22. For more information contact Anne-Marie Carroll 07977 282 365.
