For the first time, children’s TV’s favourite Numberjacks comes to the stage at St George’s Hall. Join the TV superheroes as they leave the sofa and embark on their first live adventure. The Numberjacks TV series won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Pre-school Educational Programme two years in a row, acting as a building block for young children to learn about numbers, shapes and sizes in a fun and exciting way. This is a wonderful introduction to theatre for children of all ages. The Live Show has all the fun, comedy, music and excitement from the TV show, and lots more! Numberjacks is on today at 11am and tomorrow at 11am and 4.30pm.

Ladies, treat yourselves at an indulgence evening held in aid of Bradford and Airedale Cancer Support at Bradford and Bingley Sports Club, Wagon Lane, on Thursday from 7pm to 11pm. You can pamper yourself with a manicure or Indian head massage, or treat yourself to a new handbag, make-up or jewellery, as well as some cakes, candles, lingerie, children’s books, clothes, shoes and stationery. There will also be a raffle. For ages 18-plus, with children accompanied by an adults. Entry is £2 on the door.

Circus Mondao is back in town with its brand new show, featuring the handsome Vitalie on the aerial straps and slack wire. He is the only trapeze artist attempting the heel hang on a swinging trapeze in the UK. There will also be plate spinning, diablo, magic and illusion and animals including reindeer, camels, llamas, horses, ponies and dogs. Tickets are £5.99 from the circus site in Calverley. Circus Mondao is on from tomorrow until October 9.

There’s still time to visit the World Curry Festival on The Headrow, Leeds, where you can enjoy delights cooked up by Army chefs from the Royal Logistics Corps in return for a small donation to ABF The Soldiers Charity. This is a celebration of all things tasty in world curry cuisine, and will feature fundraising events in aid of the charity.
