RENOWNED poet and spoken word musician Dr John Cooper Clarke will be bringing his new stage show to Bingley later this month in a sold out gig.
The Salford-born poet, 69, has released six studio albums throughout his poetry career, which began in the 1970s when he became famous as a punk poet, and has also collaborated with modern bands and appearing on a BBC Four documentary about his life.
He will be performing his latest stage show at Bingley Arts Centre in Main Street on Thursday, March 15, from 8pm.
The show features a mixture of old and new poetry, funny stories and observations of modern life and chat.
He will also soon be publishing his first collection of poems in 37 years, as well as an autobiography.
