SIR - The news that a Chinese tiger owner kills these beautiful animals for the pleasure of his diners is beyond belief.

He then blatantly attends a world wildlife conference for the protection of the species; this has to be the ultimate sickness.

Anyone fortunate enough to be able to afford to keep tigers, or any other endangered animals, must be made aware that they are only keepers, and not owners.

The end game is to nurture, protect and return them to their natural habitat before we lose them all.

There are no words strong enough to vent my utter contempt for this man and people like him.

Perhaps it is time that the tigers were treated to a Chinese?
