The Telegraph & Argus has Facebook and Twitter feeds to help readers keep-up-to-date with the latest news and sport, available on our website.

Twitter and the Daily Echo

Twitter is for staying in touch and keeping up with what's going on. Whether it's finding out what your friends are up to, discovering more about local and national breaking news events or keeping up with your favourite celebrities, Twitter is a mine of information.

Twitter allows you to get instant updates, either to your own Twitter page or, if you want, straight to your mobile. Twitter is an online community where you can keep in touch instantly and quickly, with simple, to-the-point updates called "Tweets".

All you have to do is sign up with Twitter here, create your own account, then search the "Twittersphere" for people, places, events... anything at all. You can also write Tweets of your own, with words and pictures, sharing what you are doing, thinking, seeing or feeling.

Already on Twitter? Then follow the T&A here.
