Archery and gymnastics were among the sports enjoyed by youngsters for £1 at a junior fun day in Bradford.
About 20 coaches and staff at Bradford Council’s Sport and Leisure Service were also offering basketball, table tennis, badminton, arts and crafts, swimming, inflatables and athletics.
Interactive dance floors, bicycles and rowing challenges were also available at the event, at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre, Odsal.
Councillor, the Reverend Paul Flowers, the Council’s executive member for sport and leisure, said: “Giving youngsters the opportunity to try different sports and activities and provide them with advice and information on lifestyle issues is key in our work to make Bradford a more active, healthier district.”
