A man who indecently exposed himself in a Bradford street told police officers his trousers fell down, a court heard today.
Ladislav Gabor, 27, a father of four, from the Slovak Republic, shocked and upset a group of women in a taxi at 3.40am on September 9 last year when he flashed in his doorway.
Prosecutor Gavin Howie told Bradford Crown Court Gabor was grinning outside his home in Watmough Street, Great Horton, as he committed the offence.
When he was arrested, he told police officers his trousers had fallen down, Mr Howie said.
Gabor, who pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, was mortified and deeply ashamed, his barrister Gerald Hendron told the court.
He was sentenced to a community order for nine months with probation supervision.
He has also signed on the Sexual Offences Register for five years.
