A BRADFORD menswear company has kitted out of Britain’s best boxers ahead of his latest fight this weekend.

Jook, based on Lumb Lane, measured up boxer Kell Brook for a suit which he will wear at his press conference tomorrow ahead of his bout this Saturday.

IBF welterweight champion Brook is stepping up two weight divisions to challenge Gennady Golovkin, the world’s number one middleweight, at The O2 in London on Saturday night.

Brook will wear the suit, which features a French blue, a shade slightly darker than sky blue, coloured jacket and waistcoat featuring a tartan-style chequered design, and black trousers.

But before he steps through the ring ropes, Mr Brook, from Sheffield, was measured up for his garments by staff from the Bradford firm, which opened in March this year.

Gulshazad Ahmed, chief designer at Jook, said: “We have got great exposure from the press conference and the suit for Kell.

“We had to pinch ourselves that we were measuring up Kell. He is pleased with what he is wearing from us.

“Hopefully it will bring a bit more business in for us. You just realise the scale of all of it too.

“When we measured Kell for his suit, he got to see him spar.”
