MILLIONS of adults who have never tried internet banking would be interested in doing so, according to independent research from the Payments Council.
It discovered that 78 per cent could potentially use online banking. Seven out of ten people who could use online banking on their main account already do so, with a further ten per cent (about four million people) interested in doing so. Security concerns were the most common online barrier.
