SOCIAL housing group Incommunities won a national award for its trades apprenticeship programme.
The group was named apprentice large employer of the year at the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Apprenticeship Awards.
Incommunities trains 33 apprentices in a number of building trades and 98 per cent have become trade professionals within the housing group. Geraldine Howley, Incommunities Group chief executive, said: “This award is a fantastic accolade for everyone involved in the delivery of our apprenticeship programme.”
