FURTHER expansion is planned at a West Yorkshire oven cleaning business due to increased demand.

Ovenu West Yorkshire, which serves Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds and Wakefield, is expecting 30 per cent growth in the second half of its financial year compared with last year and franchise owner Richard Greenwood hopes to create two more jobs within the next 12 months.

He has employed six full-time sub-contractors since starting with Ovenu in 2009 and last year appointed Lee Horsfall as a full-time technician. Ovenu West Yorkshire completes more than 2,500 oven valets a year at homes and businesses.

Richard said: “2015 has been another strong year for the firm, with continued investment in our staff and infrastructure to help drive and supplement growth. I am delighted that we have surpassed last year’s efforts, which puts the company in a strong position moving forward.

“I am now looking to building on this year’s positivity by strengthening our workforce in 2016 and offering our high quality service to even more clients. The economy is in a much more promising position, which all bodes well for the future of Ovenu West Yorkshire, and I am anticipating another successful year ahead.”

Ovenu has more than 100 franchises throughout the UK.

Rik Hellewell, founder and managing director, said: “Since starting out with Ovenu, Richard’s small business has gone from strength to strength through continued investment and by following our proven business model. I am delighted he has enjoyed another successful year and would like to wish him all the best for the year ahead.”
