SIMMONDS Charles Peacefully on December 31, at Mill Lodge Care Centre and of Swain House, Charles aged 87 years (former Caretaker at Poplars Farm First School). The much loved husband of the late Doris, dear dad of Lynda, James and Jackie, father-in-law of Martin, also a devoted grandad, great-grandad and a good friend to many. Funeral service will take place at 3.20p.m., on Friday, January 12, at Nab Wood Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Charles can be given to Yorkshire Cancer Research and a plate for this purpose will be available at the service.
