READ David David (Dave) Read, 74 died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in hospital following a brief but brave battle with cancer. Dave is lovingly remembered by his partner of 42 years, Janet, Amanda his daughter, his two sons Tony and Lee, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many other close family and friends. Born and raised in Bradford, Dave enjoyed football, rugby and was an award winning darts player. He had a passion for helping others and was one of the most selfless people you could wish to meet. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 10.30a.m., at Joseph A Hey & Son, 470 Great Horton Rd, Bradford.
