HELLIWELL Claude Final stumps drawn after a magnificent knock of 86, Claude Helliwell, batsman, bowler and all round good chap, finished his innings on Monday, October 17, at 7.50p.m., at Gloucester Royal Hospital... as the light was getting bad! His funeral will take place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Stroud, Gloucestershire, at 10.30a.m., on Thursday, October 27, 2016, with a commemorative service to take place in Yorkshire at a later date.

Just the most lovely relative. I wish I had been able to see more of him, a truly lovely charismatic man who I was overjoyed to have as a guest at my wedding. Was fantastic to my mum following the loss of her husband (my dad, Norris) when I was 4. Not a man anyone would forget who met him. Unfortunately I was not able to go to the funeral due to illness health but happily my Brother and Mum were able to attend.
