BRADFORD College will host its first ever ‘Teach Together’ conference next week.
The college's McMillan Faculty of Education is running the event, with Hays Education, at the new advanced technology centre on Wednesday.
Is is geared specifically to newly and recently qualified teachers, giving them the opportunity to share their teaching experiences. The event will also provide professional development opportunities over and above initial teacher training programmes, and will focus on the issue of resilience and how teachers can deal with stress.
Dave Howard, Head of McMillan Faculty of Education at Bradford College, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers to get together and share their teaching highs and lows and learn more from industry professionals. The resilience workshop will be a real eye opener for attendees and they should find it really useful when put into practice.”
The event runs from 12.30pm until 16.30pm.
