MUSIC will raise the roof at a village institute this weekend.

A music marathon will be held on Saturday as a final push to pay for refurbishment work at Cononley Village Institute.

Kicking off the event will be local youngsters, who will showcase their talents from 2pm to 5pm.

Refreshments will be available and there will also be music from the shows from the institute's resident pianist.

Then, from 7pm, the adults will take to the stage, with a performance from Cononley Singers at 7.30pm.

The event will conclude with a jamming session, which is open to all.

Entry is free, but there will be collection buckets for donations.
