POLICE are investigating after utility workers stumbled upon a cannabis farm with around 50 mature plants at a house in Bradford.
Gas supply workers had a warrant to enter an address in Wibsey and found the plants growing inside, so called police.
It emerged that the electricity supply had also been bypassed, with heat lamps and cooling fans working from the diverted supply.
The property was unoccupied and police are now making enquiries via the landlord to trace the occupants.
The power supply has been made safe and the plants seized by police, with the growing set-up dismantled.
